Introduction Overview

This module introduces Chapter 4, Multiplicative Ciphers. With this cipher students experience the full mathematical nature of cryptography. The following video gives a preview of the extent of the mathematical ideas students explore as they learn how to deal with multiplication in modular arithmetic and to encrypt, decrypt, and crack multiplicative cipher messages.
